The East 38 Foot HF tower

The second tower is mounted on the north east side of the house, it is approximately 38 feet, and has the Big HF antennas and a few additional VHF & UHF antennas. This tower has a hinged base plate bolted into the concrete sidewalk and it is also bolted to the house at twenty feet.

It hinges over at the base and drops down into the back yard for maintenance.

These two towers, and all the various antennas, have been in continuous service for more than twenty years. During that time they have supported the KA1RCI Packet BBS Network and many of the different voice repeaters on the KA1RCI Repeater Network.
